An event is a big goal that makes you train. Think back to when you accomplished something big that you were putting off because you thought it wouldn't be fun or it would be hard. Hmmm. Everyone saw you raise your hand when the professor took her survey. You chose a final project instead of the final exam. Now you were sunk. Everyone knows. You couldn't back down.
That project was really just a big goal that was due on one immovable day. The work required was too great to pack into an all nighter, but it was actually fun once you finally made the time. You made it happen by calling a friend in the same predicament. What was she thinking? Together you made a plan, met regularly to do the work and handed in an award winning, double spaced masterpiece. An A paper, in your mind (never mind what grumpy old Ms. Woodruff thought).
We approach training for a triathlon, bike century or long run just like you did your college project. Our training programs are comprehensive. If you can, train with us in a group. You will find no better inspiration and our coaches are fabulous. No, we mean it. They are fabulous. Some of the best, in our humble opinion. Check out our programs in detail. Read about our coaches. Pick an event. Get started. Or, we might just have to call Ms. Woodruff. We bet she could do a sprint triathlon!
Just like your favorite teacher growing up, Jill's coaches have special qualities that make you want to learn from them and to be inspired by them. Meet Jill's Coaches...

The camaraderie was great. The thing that I still love is that there are so many little goals you can set along the way. This year, it was just completing the race, but now it's so cool, there are lots of ways to challenge yourself.
