Wisconsin’s Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest, near Dousman, is a perfect site for international distance triathlon fun. With more than 20,000 acres of glacial hills, kettles, lakes, prairie restoration sites, pine woods and hardwood forests, this beautiful site hosts a weekend family triathlon extravaganza, including the kids triathlon on Saturday culminating with the supersprint, sprint and international distance races on Sunday, July 25th.
The Tri-ing For Children Triathlon weekend offers something for everyone. The international distance (also known as "Olympic" distance) triathlon is an excellent option for intermediate triathletes ready for a new challenge. Wanna take it a step further? By participating in this event you are helping to raise monies to support children in need.

The camaraderie was great. The thing that I still love is that there are so many little goals you can set along the way. This year, it was just completing the race, but now it's so cool, there are lots of ways to challenge yourself.
