So, you’ve done a 5k and you are wondering what’s next? It’s time to put in a little more volume and go the distance. Train with us to get over that fear of going long. This training program ends with one of Milwaukee’s funnest run events – The Lakefront Discovery Run which finishes at the Milwaukee Ale House.

This program is designed for men and women ages 14 years and up who would like to focus on their run performance, and challenge themselves to a longer distance.

This program will begin with a 5k race at the Komen Race for the Cure on 9/26/10. The results of your 5k from this event will be used throughout our training.

Group Training Days: Saturdays, 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. and TBA

Training Location: Milwaukee North Shore

Race Locations: Milwaukee Lakefront

  • 1 Group Training/Week
  • Progressive Weekly Training Plan
  • Water Bottle
  • Lace Locks
  • Technical Shirt
  • Race Weekend Support

Pre-program Criteria: Participants must be able to complete 5 miles under 1 hour and 15 minutes by the start of the 15k training program (9/26/10).

Race entry fee is not included.
